Specific Requirements
Additional federal label restrictions for South Dakota:
- Cutoff date: DO NOT apply after June 20.
- All applicable labeling (container, South Dakota-specific, and collateral labels) must be in the possession of the user at the time of the pesticide application. Read the label affixed to the container before applying.
- Pesticide dealers and applicators in South Dakota must be licensed and must follow product label instructions, including application timing restrictions. For more information on DANR’s pesticide program visit: https://danr.sd.gov/Agriculture/Inspection/Pesticide/default.aspx

RECORD KEEPING
- The certified applicator must keep required documentation for a period of 3 years; records must be generated on the day of application
- All other record keeping requirements on the label must be followed
